“Dr Rand performed PRP injections in my left shoulder joint. This was my last resort after an MRI revealed a torn labrum and deteriorating arthritic joint. I lived in constant pain, had limited movement and was told the only intervention would be shoulder replacement surgery by a reputable Orthopedic Surgeon. “About 15 years ago, I discovered that after decades of working in the construction trades, that I had caused myself permanent injury to my lower, and cervical spinal column. Some doctors offered drugs to me as an answer. Some offered their chiropractic services. None of them, I felt, were truly interested in helping me, help myself, as if I knew that if I healed up, I wouldn't require their services anymore. I went from place to place and continued looking for someone honest, knowledgeable, and willing enough to help me, finding the same situations. I don’t recall how, but eventually, I came across Dr. Thomas Hennessy of Hazlet NJ. Skeptical at best, I made an appointment to meet with him, and see where it went. It was a day that ultimately changed my life for the better. Doc. Hennessy initially provided me the most comprehensive initial examination I had ever experienced, well beyond all the other doctors I had seen previously. even those whom I visited for reasons other than my back pain. I was extremely impressed with the knowledge, care, and concern he provided me, even though he had just met me. He approached me with the view that I was a whole person, and not just a bunch of symptoms. His intent was what I spent all that time looking for. Someone to help me, help myself, get better and stay better, for the rest of my life. I was really lucky to have crossed paths with him. On that first visit, his experience provided me manipulations that significantly reduced the inflammation that was occurring in my lower spine, helping me get around much better than I had been for years prior. He proceeded to educated me (and encouraged my own self education as well) about myself, and on the issues I faced, and how I could go about, if not fixing them completely, minimizing the negative affects I suffered from working in the trades. He gave me what I was looking for, which was a way for me to help myself, while he treated my injuries at the same time. It's been over a decade since I first met Dr. Hennessy. Since then, through his guidance, I'm fully recovered from the intense pain of sciatica that ran down both of my legs. The tingling in my hands has subsided, and through his treatments, teachings, and insight, I reaffirmed that I was the main cause for the persistence of the pain from the injuries I had. Doc. Hennessy is the reason I'm now no longer in any intense pain. Doc Hennessy helped me understand that it was my sleeping posture, my diet, and how I conducted myself throughout the workday that was aggravating the nerves in my neck, shoulders and lower back. He consistently advised me of changes I could make that helped stop those pains, while simultaneously treating me through his chiropractic techniques. He helped me understand that through exercise, and paying attention to my own bodies signals, that I was able to overcome the suffering I was in, with his help. Today, I find myself there every couple of months or so, usually at my own cause, as my workload can be very strenuous on my body. Doc Hennessy is ALWAYS there for me when I fall back a bit. He's ALWAYS there for me when I'm in some discomfort, no matter how little, or severe. Doc is truly a man who cares about the success, well being, and happiness of his patients.
