Always friendly staff to guide you along the historic structures and practices of farming in the 19th century.
Nice place to take the kids. There animals to see and a playground so the kids can play after. The people are very friendly.
Really nice 19th century farm with volunteers helping teach kids and adults about life in the 1800s. The farmers family house, barns, blacksmith shop, chickens, sheep cows, horses and many historic vehicles and farm tools. Feel free to walk around or ask the volunteers for help. They have demonstrations scheduled throughout the year. Highly recommended.
Loved it there the staff are dressed like old time farmers and keep the history alive they milk the cows and use horses to plow the field like in the old days! Most amazing thing there is the barn that was built many yrs ago WITHOUT ANY NAILS it's pieced together. I think the design is amazing and I hope to duplicate that one day
