  Davey is an exceptional surfboard shaper and an even better guy. I drove out to demo some small wave boards, namely the Skiff and the Mango Pit, and the whole experience was amazing. I got a tour of the facility, in depth knowledge about each board I was demoing, and some useful information about the local break. I cannot wait to get my own Mango Pit in my quiver and tell everyone about Davey's awesome shapes!

  Davey is the best. A true craftsman. His custom boards always exceed expectations. He's also been generous enough to donate boards to help the local chapter of the Surfrider Foundation raise funds. I would highly recommend him.

  Working with Davey was exactly how getting a custom surfboard should be!
  He patiently took the time to discuss each shape I was interested in, the reasons behind their design, and what conditions and type of surfing they are designed for. Together we dialed in the perfect board for what I was looking for.
  Not only has the board felt and performed as discussed, but it is an absolute beauty as well! He is a true artisan and equally as important, he's a true professional in the way he runs his business. He was always responsive to my questions (even the nagging ones pestering him for updates) and delivered on exactly the specifications, color design, etc that we planned.
  He makes beautiful boards that surf even better than they look!

  Davey is one of the most knowledgeable people out there when it comes to making beautiful crafted masterpieces. My board came out amazing. He helped steer me into the right board for my usage and the design was second to none. Thanks for creating me a dream board Davey!!!

  Where "custom made" is truly custom. On the fence with dimensions? Dave will tell you how every slight tweak is going to impact performance, float, paddle powder... No pushy sales tactics, in fact, he will absolutely talk you out of making the wrong board decision. You'll never get talked down to no matter what your experience level. Dave is all about having fun on the water and no matter what that means to you, he will help guide you through the ordering process and build a board that's going to optimize your strengths, neutralize your weakness and complement your style. Not only does he know boards but he knows the area so most models are designed to make the most of our challenging Jersey conditions. A true craftsman, artist, perfectionist and most importantly good dude who's looking to share his stoke. Pro tip: Give him artistic license on the color work, you won't regret it!
