Was recommended here by my doc for their Soft Wave therapy they offer. I couldn't endure another back surgery. I went in with scoliosis, a previous car accident from my youth and a back surgery already under my belt.
This place is amazing! ALL their staff are kind and respectful, EVERY doctor has an amazing bedside manner! From start to finish I was blown away at the organization and professionalism. First time I walked away with NO questions or doubts, they were thorough. Costs are reasonable and because of my sizable issues, I had a decent sized package. However, they offered many options, each with discounts! Many opportunities for discounts for family and friends too.
I get text and email reminders for every appointment. Of course you should always give the respected 24 hours notice if you can't make it, but I was able to text them I was unable to make it!
Wait time is only about 5 min. max and that is with a full waiting room.
I would recommend everyone to come and try the cervical adjustments, it's a big change from adjustments I have experienced in the past. Soft Wave has helped so much with my back and feet. All around this chiropractic office is experienced, the doctors are highly educated and even the staff are extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

Not only do they listen and care, but the Upper Cervical technique has been a whirlwind towards my healing. There have been times I could not face the day or was in an extreme flare and they came to my rescue. Everything from my brain, nerves to GI tract is helped with each adjustment.

I feel obligated to share our personal story. My daughter, 7 years old has had tics since she was 2. Any time there was a stressful situation (good or bad stress), her tics would be excessive. Last August, my newborn was hospitalized and my daughter was so worried. She developed 8 tics that she rotated nonstop (Eye blinking, shoulder shrugging , sticking tongue out, neck rolling and so on). Some were so excessive, she had damage to her neck.

Our pediatrician who we love and trust, always had us come in when a new tic was added to test her for strep (thinking it could be PANDAS), but every single time she was negative. All neuro exams were fine as well. We were always told to ignore the tics and she’ll grow out of it at some point or we can try medications. All of my research on this over the years always said the same as well. The nurse in me trusted the research, but the mom in me wanted more.

This past winter, my daughter was starting to get bullied in school for her tics. She is top of her class academically and super athletic. Getting made fun of for something she couldn’t control was devastating her, making the tics worse. At this point my husband and I knew that ignoring it was no longer an option. We were willing to try anything and everything.

We were recommended to Dr Larry by my mother. She’s been going to him for 15 years. She suffered from debilitating pain from arthritis. She told me several times to go to him. My closest friend also goes to him for pelvic dysfunction after an injury. She highly recommended him as well after her own success story with this practice. We actually have many family members and friends of all ages that are treated at this practice for different reasons. All have amazing outcomes and continue care here. I was hesitant at first to bring my daughter because through all of my research, all I saw was to ignore the tics or trial medications.

We finally said let’s give it try. So back in April we started at Upper Cervical Chiropractic of Monmouth. Dr Larry was so kind and most of all thorough. He reassured us he would walk us through this whole process. This practice specializes in upper cervical care. The techniques are gentle and there is never any pain or discomfort involved. Everyone in the office is so kind and our daughter looks forward to getting adjusted. She sees all of the doctors and loves every single one. They are kind, patient and treat you like family.

Immediately starting care, her tics decreased. Now, 4 months into care, her tics are minimal. We even went two weeks without ANY tics.
