“I had to come to New Jersey for an aunt who was sick my stay was only supposed to be a week. However it lasted two weeks because my aunt passed away. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Tierra was one of the best greeters and hostess. There were other staff members who were equally as friendly. I wish I could name them all. Very nice people. I will stay there again on my next visit. Hopefully under better circumstances, but the staff here made it easier.”

“The Lillagaard Hotel was an excellent two days spent at the beach. The owners and staff were above and beyond the nicest and friendliest I have experienced, whether from helpful restaurant recos to helping me jump a car that ran out of batteries. Rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was excellent. Beach chairs and towels provided. Common areas and outdoor patios were spacious and pleasant. Highly recommended.”

“Beautiful place to sit and watch the dolphins and whales that feed right off shore. You can park just feet away making use of this facility easy for older or handicapped people. I can even enjoy this pavilion with my dog on my lap off season. Dogs should be allowed all year. I do not visit when my companion is unwelcome.”
