(October 16, 2018, 5:12 pm)A very relaxing B&B. There are two separate houses, each with its own unique rooms and a nice-sized outdoor pool between the houses. Only a block from the ocean in a quiet neighborhood. Candy, Claudette and Leigh are very welcoming and so friendly and helpful. Rooms are super clean and so comfortable. The breakfast they serve are Beyond delicious!
(June 30, 2018, 9:58 pm)Our 3-day June 2018 retreat at The Beacon House in Sea Girt, NJ was perfect. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The porch, grounds, and flowers were well manicured and tended. The breakfast was imaginative and delicious, even accommodating 2 dietary restrictions. Special seating dinner reservations were cheerfully made for us. The town, beach, boardwalk, and surrounding area was also well cared for and fun to explore. One sign of a professional, experienced, well-managed team is that you almost don’t notice how seamlessly and effortlessly the behind-the-scenes work is getting done, which is the case here. From our host, Candace, to co-hosts Claudette and Leigh, to housekeeping staff Maricella and Maria, we knew that our comfort and enjoyment was everyone’s highest priority. Highly recommend.
(May 27, 2018, 9:27 pm)My wife and I have stayed at The Beacon House several times over the years and it ranks as our favorite place to visit and stay. Kandy and her staff do a wonderful job of making you feel comfortable, relaxed, and at ease while the amenities are simply beautiful. Each room is well appointed and decorated, exceedingly comfortable, and each has their own individual benefits (we have stayed in several over the years). Balconies overlook the oceanfront and let you take advantage of the ocean breezes in restive chairs and rockers and the porches on either of the houses are terrific gathering spots for conversations and simply hanging out. Breakfasts are always wonderful and you won’t find a better place to stay. If you love the Jersey Shore, Beacon House must go on your list of places to visit and stay. You won’t be disappointed.
