“My boyfriend and I have known one of the owners Chris for years so we were very excited to finally make a trip and try The Baker’s Grove. For starters it is in a perfect location to grab some snacks and shop. There’s also seating outside which is nice for the warmer weather. The decor inside is inviting, modern and homey. We tried a bunch of things and the potato pastry puffs are amazing. As well as the Granny Smith Apple pastry puffs. My boyfriend inhale the salted chocolate chip cookie, thank god we also got a bag full. Cinnamon roll was also another favorite. It’s honestly massive and there is no shortage of flavor or size. The everything croissant with whipped cream cheese was a great alternative to a bagel with cream cheese. Its airy and creamy and just tastes great. Everything was honestly so good. Can’t wait to come back!!”

“Update: years later, and I or my family comes here every time to pick up a bunch of lobster tails & cannolis for me. Legendary bakery. Been getting most of our Italian pastries from La Rosa's for decades, but I figured I should finally leave a review. Very good Italian bakery with stuff ranging from breads, to meat breads, to Italian pastries (especially cannolis and lobster tails/bear claws), to a really wide variety of cakes. They're a favorite amongst locals who need their fix of Italian desserts, but want to go above and beyond what you find at a supermarket. They take their work very seriously and make sure that every customer is satisfied- they even sat down at a table with us and worked out the details of my graduation cake! I have to add that their cakes (like my own cake) are fantastic- they are very reasonably priced compared to what you'd get for most custom-baked cakes in the area, and they offer unique fillings like cannoli cream. They take serious pride in their work and I really recommend them as someone who's lived in Central Jersey/eaten Italian desserts for his entire life. Oh, and their cannoli chips + cream are really really good. Great for taking to the beach if you have a cooler to put the cream in.”
