Beautiful overlook, with sweeping views of Sandy Hook in the foreground, and New York in the background, including Long Island, the Bronx, and the skyline of Manhattan. There is a moving eagle sculpture holding a mangled metal beam from one of the towers, commemorating NJ residents who lost their lives on September 11th 2001. The park grounds were lush with mature trees providing shade and nicely a manicured lawn covered the grounds.
Beautiful little park with open fields, courts for tennis, basketball, soccer, and baseball, as well as a playground for kids and covered picnic area. Just be careful not to stay after closing- cops patrol often and will ticket for being there even 15 minutes late.
Marucci Memorial Park is in the North End of Spring Lake across the Street from Lake Como. It’s a cute little park with basketball, tennis and pickleball courts. There are little league baseball games held here and soccer fields and a small playground. There is a small path to walk around the park with your dog.
Great courts for pickleball and I love the reservation system. Charging $4.00 to reserve is brilliant. I don't mind paying it at all and it sets things up so that when someone reserves a court their going to use it.
