I can honestly say I have never experienced any type of racism, unprofessionalism etc. So, I was really shocked reading reviews regarding such behavior. From my point of view, doing my 23 years as a patient, and the above behavior cross my path, my time there would have last, 3 minutes and not 23 years. “I had been going to my family Dr for years and had been reasonably happy with the care I had been receiving. Then I began becoming incredibly fatigued and complaining that someone had unplugged my battery. Many blood tests were performed and never any unusual results to explain my fatigue. I was told it was merely due to the stressful activities that I was going through daily accompanied with my age. Then the fevers, inflammation, ( knees swelling to the size of volley balls) rashes and crippling pain set in. With the development of the visible symptoms my case was being looked at a little more seriously. However, after years of referrals leading nowhere but misdiagnosis my condition became very serious. I really became convinced that I was going to continue to deteriorate until it was too late by the time an accurate diagnosis was made. A persistent neighbor and friend finally convinced me to make an appointment with Dr. DeShaw. I thought that it was possible I had lyme disease but the Drs. I had seen either said I was negative or said that a recent test was negative and that there was no need to repeat the test for lyme. A local lyme specialist who had seen me and said I had every symptom of chronic latent lyme had not tested me because I was tested 4 months earlier and the results were negative. His diagnosis was probably the most ridiculous and had I followed his course of treatment I would not be able to write this or possibly not be here at all. I cannot thank Dr. DeShaw and the rest of the team at Affiliated enough for the care I have received. My condition was so grave by the time I was seen by Dr. DeShaw that I actually set record for a while. Although I can truly write a book about my experience with lyme and the co-infections I will try and conclude this review now. I consider myself fortunate to have become a patient of Dr. Deshaw's and have improved considerably. I highly recommend Dr. DeShaw, especially for the hard to diagnose patients.”

“Roberto is the best! I’m paralyzed in my lower legs and have Spina Bifida, he has educated me on how to get better and I even started having feeling in my lower legs again! After I leave every session I walk almost perfectly straight which is something I haven’t been able to do in over a decade. “Dr. Behbakht has become like a part of our family throughout our 16 years(2 kids) with her. Not only has she provided amazing care and knowledge over that time, but she has always gone above and beyond to get to know my children and build a relationship and trust with them. Our first visit with her was when my daughter was 6 months old and wouldn’t sleep more than an hour at a time. We were at our wits’ end. Dr. B suggested some changes and she slept through the night that night. After many years of all the fun childhood illnesses and mysterious rashes, she has become someone whose advice, knowledge and experience I trust completely. Her office staff is also fantastic and has always been great at handling appointments and insurance issues. I highly recommend Dr. Behbakht and so would my kids!”

As per the doctor, we'll the front desk represents her to a T. Dr is a Very young, inspiring, well presented and great personality. A Dr. That you would want your daughters to have because you can tell appearance is priority. It's very important, to me, to bring my daughter to a place where there is an understanding that you would not want something permanent on your daughter or scars for future looks. So far I am extremely happy will will be back in a month hopefully to update even a greater and better experience.”
