Dr. Virak Tan, MD

Dr. Tan is a kind, compassionate, and gifted surgeon. I had the good fortune of meeting Dr. Tan when I experienced a bad break to my wrist in May 2008. His surgical procedure included the insertion of a titanium device which he designed. Due to his excellent care, I have experienced no pain in that region for the past 12 years. In addition, I continue to have full range of motion. A recent radiograph confirmed the stability of the device. I remain forever grateful to this brilliant physician.

Dr Tan is truly an amazing doctor. He was able to help my husband when others said there was nothing they could do. He took fingers, hand and an arm and made it functional again. He is very compassionate and genuinely cares for his patients. He takes the time to listen and answer any questions you may have and never makes you feel like you are being rushed through your appointment. His staff is wonderful as well, helpful with everything from appointments to paperwork.

So grateful to Dr. Tan and his amazing staff. When no other doctor could figure out what was causing weakness in my son's wrist and thumb, Dr. Tan was able to quickly locate the source and schedule surgery with only a few days notice. Thanks to Dr. Tan my son's hand is on the mends and he can continue competing in the professional video gaming world.

I had an excellent experience! I fractured my shoulder in a car accident. Dr. Tan and his staff were very accommodating and friendly. Dr. Tan is very knowledgeable and I received the very best of care. I'm very pleased with my outcome. I'm back to all my normal activities including sports!
