“Ok, I finally found a hair salon for African Americans in the middle of Budd Lake. I had a very bad choppy hair cut from a African American woman at a hair school (trying to save money). I hated it. I live in town and couldn’t find anyone willing to help me with my hair. Till I called Ron’s, Dana is a life saver, being a woman of color I was weary at first but once I explained what I wanted Dana helped me get a awesome hair cut. And the prices are fantastic. Being that I have a busy schedule they always have time to squeeze me in. I would recommend anyone to go to Ron’s Hair Studio.”

Melissa did such an amazing job and went the extra mile to make my hair look amazing walking out of there. I also really appreciated that they stick to their pricing online—usually I end up paying an extra $10-15 more than I expect because my hair is difficult and takes longer, so I get charged more than salons first tell me. “Great little salon. My stylist MaryAnn is the best, patient and skilled. I always have high expectations and bring pictures with me and she always succeeds. Also recently we met Shannon who cuts my 10 year old s hair, who absolutely dislikes hair salon - Shannon is the only one he allowed to cut his hair. Thank you to both ladies! On the other page, the salon is clean, atmosphere is relaxing, coffee bar is a big plus and check in is prompt.”

“I do a lot of traveling around the world and to find a solon that listens to the way you want your hair cut is hard to find. The stylist (Zoey) listened to how I wanted it cut and which clipper size to use and did exactly that. Very nice cut and professionally done. She also ask questions as she was cutting. The beautiful lady (Michelle) that greeted me as I walked in and took my name was very professional and polite. Very nice atmosphere, very clean business will return.”
