“Outstanding care! I fell going up my front steps and essentially broke my face. I was sent to the hospital by Summit Medical Groups urgent care as this way out of their scope of help for me. I ended up in the trauma at MMC. I was very lucky that night. I was told that Dr. Gorzelnik would be down to see me, but it would be about 2 hours. Dr. Gorzelnik did come in to see me in about 2 hours. He immediately put both my husband and me at ease. We knew I would be fine! I fell in November 2019 doctor operated on my the Saturday after my fall. Dr. G put in a titanium implant to bridge the gap caused by my shattered orbital bone. To look at me today, just 2 months after my fall, you'd never even notice I had shattered my orbital bone. He was very patient with me while I struggled with double vision. Dr. G was sure if I just gave it time and allowed the swelling to subside that my vision would be fine. He was so right, my vision is back to normal. I don't think you could find a more compassionate, patient caring doctor. I can't thank him enough for all he's done for me. Dr. Gorzelnik you are truly amazing.”

She required me to get testing that not only found the defect in my daughter but also my two other children that I would have never known about. She literally saved my daughter’s life. The defect found required surgery when she was 3yrs old. It was congenital defects so my siblings had their kids checked & found issues in their kids as well. I will forever be indebted to Dr. Girz, my only regret was I wasn’t able to have her deliver my other two children.”

“Dr. Bilkis is a very patient-oriented physician. This is the fourth year going to Dr. Bilkis for an annual routine check. Previously, the Dermatologists that I was going to were very preoccupied with finding things to justify additional billable services. In one office, this would always include cutting four or more moles off for biopsy. The next Dermatologist was similarly working hard to find work for their OR. In one case, the Surgeon could not even find the lesion to be removed and so he made a long gash on my left arm, just to be sure. This experience led me to doubt the credibility of the physician who referred me for the surgery. It seemed as though they were more interested in revenue than in my well-being as the patient. That was when I found Dr. Bilkis. His examinations are thorough but he is measured in his diagnoses. He takes the most effective approach to the particular issue. Today, two “spots” were frozen. Dr. Bilkis’s approach gives me a lot of confidence in his opinion and advice. I would recommend him strongly as, for him, the interest and well-being of the patient is clearly primary.”
