“Good healthy food which they prepare right in front of you. The kabobs are fire grilled which has beautiful charcoal flavor. The beef kebob had rosemary in them and the flavor really comes out. Three things that needs improving: 1. The place needs an upgrade. Not enough sitting space and super congested. 2. The food needs more seasoning. I felt as the food could have used some more salt pepper and perhaps garlic. 3. Hot sauce needs to have some heat. I understand the demographic demands for mildness but not sauce needs to be hot.”

Honestly, I was a little annoyed by the way they changed the light & lines at the Hanover & Horsehill, but aside from that, inside you have a variety of prepared cuisines, fresh grocery shopping, liquor store, and a few other nooks & crannies built in; creating a little hub of convenience not far from the Green in Morristown. Offering a few more selections that weren't available at the Walmart/Cedar Knolls Plaza on Ridgedale, the Village Food Garden lives up to its name offering a variety of food from sushi to pizza not to mention a Health & Wellness Center offering yoga classes, dietitians, butchers & bakers, and if you searched hard enough, I believe they even have a candlestick maker. I hope they expand their hours later into the night; as of now, they are only open until 10PM every day. ”

Appearance of restaurant was a little unexpectedly worn down in its look at first view-though when we went in, the cooks were super warm and went out of their way to make us feel at home and please us. “The all you can eat sushi deal is really good. The quality of the fish is relatively good for the price. The appetizers are really tasty and I recommend getting those. The only downside is the fact that it gets to be a little gross to see gluttons around you ordering a ridiculous amount of food. It takes away from The Classy Japanese experience. Don't expect high class Japanese when you go to this place, not because of the place or the location, but because we Americans can't control our eating!”
