“Hubby and I shared a 1lb of a cheeseburger. It was huge!!! Loved the idea of creating your own burger with all the flavorful toppings. We also ordered fish and chips, we loved it! “So many people have been pointing me to Zoelily Empanadas and Finally today I Arrived. They are so Passionate about what they do and providing you with the Best Empanada ever. That they do. Everything is made Fresh to order. This takes longer, but it's worth the wait. I had the Philly Cheesesteak and the Cinnamon Apple Cheesecake. Both were 5 stars. “Really good, cheap sushi. Coming from the UK this level of sushi would be impossible to get at the price point offered. Freshly made to order, limited options but well made with crisp nori. The fish itself was good, nice tasting and seemingly fresh. What made the difference was the warm, collapsible rice. Not going to knock any sushi aficionados socks off, but for mall sushi, and especially coming from the UK, this was great!”

“I was working and was in this city. I was happy they offered a cauliflower pizza crust it was good. I decided to try the house salad for $7.00 they forgot the fork. But they quickly came by to give me napkins and a utensil so I could eat my salad. I did order the ice tea and requested unsweet for a quart $4.95. That was said to be really good ice tea. Unfortunately, when I called to make sure it was unsweet after ordering it was sweet tea. I asked for a cup of tap water and the manager said No! They offered to switch the quart of tea for the tap water and I said No! That wouldn’t make sense to exchange something free for something that I paid $4.95 for. It was disappointing that I couldn’t get a cup of water with my delivery. Overall the pizza and salad were good but management not so good.”

“Normal full NJ diner with full menu meaning dinners, desserts, and all meals. Food was great, me having the roast chick and partner having the pork chop dinner. The desserts were good, too, along with the salads. Service was ok but did not refill water plus forgot bread or had to ask for it. I would not down rate the place for needing an update as it’s acceptable plus clean. Yes, there was a vinyl taped seat, but, again, the place is clean and the food was great, our reason for coming in. Not as good as the Tom Sawyer in Union but better than Madison’s diner.”

“The Plaza Café and Diner is a charming family run establishment with a friendly atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious, attractively presented food. The decor is relaxing, and the restaurant pristine. My husband and I have eaten here twice since they reopened under the new ownership/management, once us alone for a late lunch, and once as part of a group of six for an early dinner. Both times we were well taken care of. The menu is standard diner fare with a few interesting additions, and with the wide variety of options, there is truly something for everyone. The location is excellent, very easy to get to, and located within several walkable blocks of shops and businesses, across the street from the train station. If you are in the Morris Plains area, or traveling through, I highly recommend the Plaza Cafe and Diner! Enjoy, and be blessed!”

He got the chicken in Madeira wine sauce and I got the tuna steak and we both substituted with scalloped potatoes which were all cooked to perfection!
