“It's $20 bucks if you are not a Jersey resident. You need a permit to drive your 4wd onto to the beach. There are people fishing off the beach. Prepare for strong rip currents. Great view of White sands and clear water. It's not crowded, lots of sea life so you know the ecosystem is healthy. This is the best experience of the Jersey shore. Unless you are not done with the boardwalk”

“Located behind a shopping center and the amusement park you'll find a small and delightful beach for dogs. There were maybe four or five dogs (besides ours) there when we were there. The dogs can run on the beach, into the bay and generally have fun (and so can their owners). Bring a favorite chase/fetch toy or two and enjoy.”

“Sedge is such a beautiful place especially on a great weather day. Water always is very clean and clear. Make sure you get one of the maps and try to plan for wind and tide. Be prepared to paddle hard because the tidal currents are very strong. Ospreys are everywhere but try to see the falcons at their raised igloo stand.”

“Great place to relax and watch the ocean, normally very peaceful and far enough from the beach to be more sareen than choatic. But close enough to enjoy the sights sounds and feeling of the beach”
