“My husband and I stayed here just over a month. We really liked it. While the sites are tight with several trees, I felt they were plenty big enough and the trees offered just enough shade and privacy to be well worth the extra trouble backing your trailer. The staff were all super friendly as were the other campers that we met. The only downside was that it could use some sprucing up. A little landscaping and grooming would go a long way. Its a beautiful property with buildings that really just need some paint and hauling off the old vehicles and campers sitting around would make a world of difference. The laundry facilities are a older but clean and well lit, we didn't use the bathhouse, but I did go in once to use the trash can and it appeared clean. The pool is huge and the playground was really nice. We had no issues with the water or water pressure. It was a very quiet, nice campground centrally located to several attractions. It is a little expensive, but not much more than the other campgrounds that we checked in the area, so I'd say it's in the ballpark. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay here.”

“Update: we just finished our first year of camping. Instead of spending the first few years traveling, as we intended, we are now going for a seasonal! Lots of fun activities every weekend during the summer. My son has made so many friends. Lots of activities for families. The campers are all so friendly and the staff is top notch! Darren, Hailey and Kenny have all been amazing! We can’t wait for next season! Great campground! This is our first year camping and instead of exploring other campgrounds, we keep booking weekend after weekend here.”

“Great place to pull off and see some wildlife. There is a sand parking lot, but no structure. So if you want a private picnic bring a table. Observe posted signs, this area is commonly used for hunting during the fall and winter months. A sizeable clean pond adds to the pleasurable sights so please carry-in carry-out.”

“Nice complex, turf, nice bleachers on both sides. The snack bar has a fairly extensive menu, friendly personnel. We we're there for an AYF playoff game, 18 and over have to pay $3 each to enter, not sure about regular season fee? The announcers we're very good, played music during down times. The referee was mic'd, that was pretty impressive! The only issue is parking, not enough, we went over the curb to a grass strip. Enjoy!”

“Went to the food truck festival and fireworks there last night..we didnt eat from the trucks but the food smelled great..the fireworks were very good..my 3 3yr old loved them,he had the biggest smile on his little face..the weather was perfect also it had a nice crisp breeze which was nice because being pregnant the heat gets to me very easily..deff a place we will go to again..the family had a great time..”

“13,000 acres of state land with several different lakes for fishing and boating,public archery and firearm range for .22s,muzzleloaders, and shotguns,great hunting ,just avoid going there during six day or opening day of pheasant season,great place to cruise around in the truck,just don't drive off the designated road and don't ride your quad or dirt bike through there because the game wardens have quads too,and impound fees are expensive”

“It could get very crowded especially Sundays, there is no fence so you have to watch your kids all the time because it is very close to the road. They used to have one person taking care of the facilities but not any more this year. Anyway my 5 years old likes this place a lot.”
