“Once we had decided to renovate our kitchen, laundry room and mudroom, we began to research kitchen contractors in the area. We asked many friends who they had used and were shocked that so many people recounted having had a very negative experience with their kitchen renovations. Fortunately, a realtor told us that she had seen True Leaf Kitchen's work and suggested that we give them a try. One Saturday morning, we stopped into the True Leaf showroom in Basking Ridge. Immediately, we were warmly greeted and were very impressed with the time that was taken by Miss Alison Burke to explain the True Leaf process. We scheduled an appointment with the owner, Jim Barna, and were immediately impressed with his creativity, honesty, knowledge and friendly approach to the project at hand. Jim's vision for our renovation was very detailed and we were thrilled that he had listened carefully to our needs and customized a plan to accommodate our lifestyle. The True Leaf method also proved invaluable along the way; as decisions needed to made on products or materials, True Leaf was always available to answer questions or provide guidance along the way. Miss Alison Burke went out of her way to meet us at various suppliers and took the time to understand our vision and our decision-making process. Jim Barna, personally met us at the stone quarry to help us pick out our granite counter tops and was always readily available to provide advice. Once the renovations were underway, we were always kept well informed on the developments in the project. Any necessary adjustments in the project's design or timeline were always communicated to us in a detailed and accurate manner. Any questions that we posed along the way were also answered promptly. We could not have been more pleased with the carpentry and tile work, provided by Jim's subcontractor, Eck Construction. In fact, we started referring to Eddie and Chris as "The A team" because we were so impressed with their talent, professionalism and work ethic. It was refreshing to see how much care and pride Eddie and Chris took in their work and we always felt like they treated our home like they would treat their own homes. As for lighting, we were very specific with our desire to have LED lighting throughout our spaces. We could not have been more pleased with the work by Jim's subcontractor, R and L Electrical Contractors. The lighting work in our spaces is exquisite and we truly appreciated the care that was taken by all of the electricians on the project. Rarely in life do end results actually exceed your expectations, but this was definitely the case with True Leaf Kitchens. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Jim Barna and his team of professionals at True Leaf Kitchens and are completely blown away by the beautiful spaces that True Leaf Kitchens created. This company provides a great product and a great experience and I would highly recommend True Leaf Kitchens to anyone considering a home renovation!”
