THE MAX Challenge of Bedminster/Basking Ridge

Address: 411 King George Rd, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920, USA

“The Max is an incredible place because it is more than fitness classes. It can change your lifestyle. As a person that stress eats junk food and loves carbs, following the nutrition plan was hard. But paired with the classes, the more I saw progress the harder I tried to stay compliant. By the end of the ten weeks, I was voluntarily and wanting to eat salads most days. (Honestly didn’t think that would EVER happen) The nutrition plan helps the transition because it introduces all the options for veggies, has sample meal plans and slowly phases out carbs, so you don’t get shocked. Changing my eating habits alone was worth the price. The classes are also awesome though! I take Jon’s 8pm classes and the energy level is so high. When I first started, he watched out for and corrected my form. Watching other people work hard - especially when we did ladders - made me work harder. The flexibility of the class times, basically once every hour, was essential for me since I have a long commute and don’t get home until late. I like working out and I have done similar workouts at home but the ambiance of the Max has helped me stay committed to it. For the ten week challenge, I could only make classes 3x a week and had more cheat meals than I should have due to big events but I still lost 7 lbs by the end. I originally thought I was only going to stick around for the ten weeks, but after it ended, I signed up for their legacy plan because of all the reasons listed above :)”
