There is a sign to identify the park. Google Maps directions are wrong. They bring you through a private community. The entrance is by the Church.”

“Open, minimally touched, and area around the sit is not very developed. Except for someone's rooster in the distance, the preserve is peaceful. I was there Memorial Day 2016 and saw many beautiful wildflowers and grasses. There were various butterflies, moths, dragonflies, colorful beatles, and I even spotted a small brownish preying mantis. ”

“Beautiful spacious park hidden away in a small town. Meadows and woods make up most of the landscape with a large lake in the middle. There's also rail trails that go through it. You always see people walking and enjoying themselves and you can usually catch the odd wildlife here and there. There's a small airport on one end you can see planes take off. Check out the butterfly garden behind the stone house.”
