“It's alright. Has a playground for the kids, pond with swim area and we taught our kids to cast here. No actual fish for catching. Does have minnows you can see up by the banks.”

“Newer type park equipment and clean park. Very well groomed and maintained. The pool is great for the summer months. The downfall of the park is the sweet aroma of poop from the sewage plant right down the street.”

“I Went to a company bbq here and it was great. Canoeing, row boats, paddle boats, tennis courts, volley ball, and large swimming pools all monitored by lifeguards. The parking was a little far if you arrived late but its a beautiful walk. Great place to go with the family.”

“Had a nice relaxing weekend, it was the last weekend of the season and the weather was terrible but the campground was great. We had a good sized level site and very nice views of the woods across from our site. Plenty of room to back the 37ft motorhome up without any problems. Got a campfire in on Friday night before the nor'easter rolled in. Nice camp store and friendly staff, all in all a good time.”

“I love this hidden gem just over the hill behind Hortons Pond at the Community College! Hortons Pond is the one you see as you drive through the College. Follow the walkway behind the Pond to find Little Hortons Pond.”

“Gorgeous sunsets! The sign says this area offers recreation and trails but this isn't true as of right now. Beyond the great field by the road is a lot of farmland. This land was newly acquired by the town for public use so I'm guessing they have things planned that aren't here yet. It's the best spot on the area for sunsets though. And maybe fly a kite.”

“Hiked the red trail was a pretty good work out. It's very steep and rocky. The trails could be marked better they are inconsistent with the spacing, too many when you really don't need them then none where you have to make a decision. This trail is very clean not a sign of humans no garbage or graffiti to remind you of the lower IQ types. Bring plenty of water you'll need it after the steeper sections.”

“This railroad-turned-trail has two separate parking lots, each of which has a barrier gate. "South" parking lot is accessible from Waterloo Road. "North" parking lot is accessible from South Shore Road. It takes about 40 minutes to walk from one end to the other end. In between there are entrances to several trails for hiking, biking, cross country skiing and horseback riding. For a short distance hiking, take Ranger Loop, red trail and Iron Mine Loop, blue trail. Takes a lot of photos of beautiful Jefferson Lake.”
