“We moved into our house in July and immediately had moisture and mold issues in the basement, and had minimal AC on the 1st and 2nd floors. We tried a couple different options and spoke to a few different companies to identify the problem, but were strung along by different people for quick fixes / sales that didn’t work. We called Argent for a leaking pipe in our crawl space, and John V. came out to quickly fix the issue and suggested that Brian come check out the moisture situation in the basement. Brian came out to do a walkthrough and was extremely knowledgeable about the real problem and how to fix it. A new Trane hvac system was installed in the basement with an Aprilair dehumidifier system for the basement and in-line humidifier for the winter. A second Trane system was installed in the attic for a second zone for the 2nd floor. Brian was always knowledgeable about everything and wanted the work done perfectly like it was his own home. Kurt and Carlos are true professionals and worked very hard to make our home comfortable with the new hvac system. Kurt and Carlos were always friendly to my wife and I, and they do very high quality work. The crew came early each day, around 8AM or earlier even. They were always extremely nice, clean, and we could not be happier with their work. John V. was so helpful with the original leak and he even came out during the project to replace our sump pumps with new ones and installed water to water back up systems. He stayed very late to finish the job timely. He was great in walking me through the plumbing in the basement to show how the new system worked. Mark also came to the house to fix a rusted waste line pipe. He was very quick, clean, and so friendly throughout the day. Brian/Argent also contracted for a new electrical panel and carpentry work to create an access drop down stairs to the attic for the 2nd hvac system, that was very seamless and a huge help for the project and long term utility / quality work in our home. Although these projects were not planned after we bought the home, we couldn’t be happier with Argent and every person who came to the house over the past few weeks. We greatly appreciate the hard work and sweat put into our home to literally reengineer the entire mechanical system in the house. It’s helped make the house feel like our home.”
