Horrible product. 6 year old pool with all Hayward equipment. Year 1 had the pump replaced (under warranty luckily)
2 of the 3 niche-less led lights burned out had them replaced under the 1 year warranty and the replacement ones were not under any warranty nor did it extend the warranty. So now my second pair is burned out and 1 still standing barely it’s strobing and going through all the colors and can’t control only can turn it off. So the original parts were junk didn’t make it a year then the way they get out of future warranty they don’t extend it on the replacement parts or stand behind their products that they say are supposed to run 10,000 or 50,000 hours on their website. now to replace all 4 they are $900 each plus labor to install…. Thousands of online complaints about these specific lights and Hayward won’t do anything about it….
Update !!! 8/2/2022
Well I have to say that Hayward has done right by me. I did attempt to call and get a solution to my lights being out of warranty and going out for the second time in 5 years and over the phone there was not much help so I turned to the internet to find that many others had the same experience. So then I filed a BBB COMPLAINT… with 24 hours I had a response from a Hayward rep asking me to provide details with my issues. I gave them all the info I had available to me and their response was with a UPS tracking number and solutions to replace all my lights and remote that were out and defective. Based on that they have earned a lifelong customer and will buy their products again. So thank you Hayward and I wanted to make sure I leave a review here and on Google showing that their attempt to make it right and that it didn’t doesn’t go unnoticed. I appreciate you BBB and Hayward for understanding and helping.
