Nomahegan Park

Olmsted designed urban park that remains a necessary destination over a hundred years.

Great two mile track with diverse footing. I really enjoy going early and having the park almost to myself.

New Jersey needs more places to workout outdoors! A park like this can be used late into fall and early in the winter. Unfortunately don't have pictures, but will take next time
Edit: I celebrated my birthday here by reserving the picnic tables. It's only $40 or so. We had a great time, the park is clean and shady. There was a wedding party right next to us, and a few other groups, but we had ample space.

Great hiking preserve with terrain varying from gentle to moderately challenging elevations.
Nice scenic views and some great photo backdrops.
Dog friendly. Our chihuahua loved it.

not much of a place for hiking but very large area to enjoy walking/ running or biking around about a 2 mile loop. I laid out my yoga mat and worked out. it was beautiful and lovely area and there were others bbqing and enjoying the area !
