This shop is old school and new mechanics are very knowledgeable about the game. And very fair with prices did a wonderful job on my dodge Durango valve job. I was at another mechanic he told me they don’t do engine work like that anymore. Well to make a long story short this shop gave me top quality workmanship.
Very friendly and welcoming auto repair facility, old style school of fixing things.I had a couple of things done on my truck and my wife's, they took care of hers without issue, mine ran into a couple of issues with wheel alignment and back light replacement. Had to come back for the wheel alignment but Roy road with me to see what the issue was and jumped right on it, might be something more than just an alignment but probably the best its going to get. The replacement back light wasn't their fault but the suppliers, I have a hybrid Tahoe and for some reason they kept sending a regular Tahoe light, which is shape totally different but marked for a hybrid, took a couple of weeks to finally find the right one and without appt, I popped up and Roy stopped what he was doing to install the light without attitude or delay.. Sometimes its the little things that count, I know I should have made an appointment but he gave me service while I waited anyway and always courteous, this is definitely old school compared to today's service. I gave a 4 *, which is equivalent to my 5*, I usually never give 5* cause their is always some room for improvement, but good little family business and very fair pricing, thanks.
My car started overheating on the parkway a few months back, so I pulled off in Kenilworth. I made some calls and found Carracinos. They said their mechanic still around, but was about to leave, and would take a quick look before he left. He ended up sticking around for two or three hours after his shift ended, and they were supposed to close, to both diagnose and fix the problem, and get me back on the road. He even pointed out the problem to me, and helped me understand what was wrong, and what he needed to fix. When it came time for the bill, it was far less than I expected it to be with him working overtime to help me. They are incredibly friendly and helpful, and even though it’s a bit out of my way, I plan to bring my car to them for all my future repairs.
I highly recommend this shop to everyone needing repairs. I have two BMW'S. (750i & X5) Way cheaper than bringing it to a dealer. And they do great work. If they can work on a BMW, they can work on most cars.
