Guitar Center

After completing treatment for cancer, I decided to make my lifelong aspiration of learning to play guitar a reality. I bought a beautiful sparkly turquoise 3/4 size Luna Acoustic guitar from Guitar Center’s online store, and immediately signed up for online lessons.

While I thought I would take lessons for a couple of months, learn a few chords and move on, I ended up taking lessons for over a year. I learned so much more than I anticipated, including being able to read sheet music, a skill I had never had before.

I feel I made an excellent choice having Henry M. as my instructor. Henry is enthusiastic, engaged, methodical, encouraging, clearly loves playing guitar and loves teaching guitar. I may not have continued for as long as I did if it were not for Henry’s expert guidance and affable demeanor. I feel that through Guitar Center I now have a strong foundation on which to build my skills as continue to explore the world of music on my own. I look forward to taking lessons with them again in the future. Glad I made this investment in myself. It was so worth it!
