“First of all, I had been looking for someone to strip, paint and change hardware for the last 15 years. I could just not find anyone. Until one day I see an advertisement for L. E. Furniture Restoration on Facebook. I was hesitant at first, however, I would trust the Universe. I test Luis with a picture I what I wanted to be restored and he immediately responded with a very fair price. His immediate response indicated that he was responsible and dedicated. The initial contact took place in March 2018, however, we had decided to leave it for the fall. Both doors needed to be removed and I would be front doorless for days. Nevertheless, in late October he came and removed the doors. In less than two weeks he delivered the doors and installed them. I was beyond delighted with his craftsmanship. I couldn't stop looking at the doors and feeling the smooth wood with my hand. I was exceedingly happy with the hardware that was replaced. The door on the left is the stationary door. However, he found the hardware that allows you to pull the pin down and open the door when people are moving or you have a large item being delivered. Mr. Luis is very professional and certainly knows his craft. I posted pictures on Facebook and my friends and family gave me rave reviews. On a scale of 1 - 10 his work is 100!!!!!!! I live in Newark, NJ so I will also say that this work was "da bomb." I currently have a side board/buffet that I purchased in the Salvation Army in downtown Newark, NJ and he will be picking it up the week after Thanksgiving and refurbishing and restoring this treasured piece. I would recommend L. E. Furniture Restoration anytime and any day. Everyday when I leave my house, I just stare at them and I am in love. My home was build in 1921 and these are the original doors. They have beveled glass and I just love old things.”
