First, you must know that Santillo's bakes their pizzas well. The cheese gets that beautiful golden brown scoring and the crust is crispy and crunchy. That being said, they have a rich, flavorful sauce that you can't get enough of. I really enjoyed the 1964 for the perfectly crispy crust and base, the delicious aforementioned sauce, and the amazing spices and herbs that packed a flavorful punch in every bite. I'm especially grateful for the many friends and experts that have recommended Santillo's to me over the years. Shoutout to Ms. V for treating me to my first Santillo's experience. That Sicilian was everything I could have hoped for. Overall, Santillo's is a piece of pizza history that needs to be experienced by any pizza-aficionado.”
