Sade shows passion in voice when she invited me in. She gave me a lot of knowledge on the items y’all have & with the help of Angelica I was able to walk out with exactly what I needed. Before I walked out the ladies helped me assemble the boxes I brought because I had no idea what I was doing. They made my day , & eased my stressful thoughts. “I moved from Seattle to NYC and had a fantastic experience with Smartbox start-to-finish. Their team was professional, friendly, and efficient (Lauren, Gwen, and anyone else I missed). They offered as well a $125 credit to book in the next week-without prompt- and they were already the lowest priced pod company. I had researched several moving box companies and Smartbox was one of two that was able to speak to tricky Manhattan sidewalk/running truck laws, and the truck driver’s hourly rates were significantly cheaper than the other guys’. On Seattle initial delivery day, Brian showed up right when he had previously double-confirmed he would, and was efficient, friendly, and a master of the forklift (I lived in a tricky, hilly, narrow neighborhood in Seattle with little street parking). He showed me how to best secure the Smartbox and advised me on the best ways to secure the box overnight. He picked up the boxes two days later right on schedule and away went my things went on a cross-country adventure. I was overseas when I coordinated my move-in timeframe with the team, and they promptly and efficiently directed me to Victor, who was also awesome. He coordinated his time with me, double-confirmed his timing with traffic estimates, and made the experience A+. An NYC miracle happened and Victor & my moving guys (Great Movers, also awesome and reviewed in a separate post) were there on time, incredibly efficient, and pulled off the box unloading in an hour. All in all, what could have been an obscenely stressful experience ended up being as stress-free as one could hope a cross-country move could ever be. I will definitely use Smartbox for future moves!”

“Bobby the owner came out and gave me an estimate. He was on time and was all business, no BS! I had three other professional estimates given to me. B Line Movers was the only company who quoted me two moving trucks instead of only one. And the estimate came in moderately priced in comparison to others. They were very responsive to my questions by email and phone calls prior to moving date. They even made a special trip a couple of days before our move per my request just to look over my packing job and give me some tips on how to make things smoother. On moving day everything was exactly as it had been described to me. The moving gentleman were extremely professional, polite, and efficient. I think we used every bit of those two moving trucks, something that would have cost me many extra hours with the other companies for extra trips with only one truck. That's honesty! There were no broken items, everything was wrapped and blanketed properly. I simply could not have had a better moving experience!”

I got the smallest unit they offer and used it for a little over a month, easily accessing it a dozen times, and I was very pleased with them and the entire place. It's extremely clean, efficient, and obviously safe, quiet, and secure. You use your two four digit codes to both enter and exit, which helps them monitor better everyone's comings and goings. Betty took my information when I first showed up, it was pleasant and quick, and I got a unit immediately. I like the place a lot because it's quiet and the atmosphere is relaxed and safe, like you're in their living room. It feels almost like a fortified harbor, while the storms of life swirl outside in the distance somewhere.”
