“Spectacular teaching! This was my first visit to this campus and I felt welcome and comfortable. Everyone was great!!”

“The professors I have are great, but the facility could use more maintenance. Locker rooms are dirty and soap and hand sanitizer takes forever to be refilled. The gym equipment is run down and broken. The classroom temperatures are either very warm or very cold.”

“All schools have their faults, but the instructors really do want to see students succeed, wish dean Mathews was still there, she was amazing.”

“Monia has this incredible ability to “connect” with kids. She has definitely changed my daughters’ attitude towards math to a positive one. I have seen it happen not only with my child but with all of my friends children also. By connecting with them, she is able to get them to really open up and trust her. The outcome is always the same....their grades always drastically improve by 200%. It also didn't take long...between the 2nd and 3rd session good things started happening. She is ssoo patient with children.... She is truly a blessing.”

“This University is not like any other. They use lots of technology to make practically anything you need to do very easy. Take a class, improve yourself or pursue a degree and you'll not regret it. There are LOTS of moving parts to a university. Here you can actually email someone and get a reply. They'll really try to help you. Just ask them. They're flexible and easy to work with.”

“Best WiFi on campus, most of the time there's parking nearby and a lot less crowded than the library. There's an ABP here so you're not too far from a hot sandwich, and everything in here is brand new so you're not studying on tables with old writings and grime on them. Even more, almost every chair/table has a power cord in them so you can plug your phone or laptop, on every floor.”

“A great experience The staff were professional and accommodating. With the likelihood of rain during our time slot they pro-actively reached out to see if we wanted to schedule an earlier time in order to avoid the rain. Check-in was quick a painless. The flight was everything that we wanted it to be. Having flown with the operators from the helipad near battery park, this experience was significantly more relaxing and personal. It did not feel like a conveyor belt of tourists . Also, it is so much easier to be flying out of NJ rather than heading in to Manhattan for the other operators. Another plus compared to the operators out of Manhattan was that this is a four seat helicopter so nobody gets stuck in the middle of a row of three ! When we have visitors in town, we always recommend the helicopter flight to see New York. This is the second time that we have used Heliflights and they are now most definitely our operator of choice.”

“Tuition is definitely affordable, and the campus is definitely nice. Professors are very understanding, and definitely help you when you need it. The only thing I have an issue with is the Trolley System. Sometimes I'd get out of class at 10:45 and my next class would be at 11 in East campus. Even if I got out of class and got to the Trolley stop by Kean Hall, sometimes the Trolley wouldn't come for 30 minutes. Maybe if the Kean App had a gps tracker on the Trolley to show where it was located, it would help a lot because sometimes you have to just hope it will come. Other than that I love this University. Miron Student Center is amazing, the information desk gives you all the information you need. Sandra Collins will always help you when you need it! There are many places to study in peace whether it be the library in a study room, Green Lane, East Campus, the Stem building, there's always a place to study in peace. There's also a variety of places to eat such as the cafe, Jersey Mike's, Auntie Anne's, or Smash Burger. Also, there are many clubs to join, and if you're a commuter doing extra curricular activities help kill time when you're waiting for parkway traffic to die down.”

“Took a CPR class for my Home Health Aide license. The CPR instructor made me interested in the CNA program. My recommendation to all students is to study and stay on top of your payment plans. They will work with you if you need extra help. They also got me a job at JFK.”
