“This was a great place to hang out with friends, and I highly recommend this for birthday parties of all ages. This large building includes, 15+ bowling lanes, a large arcade, laser tag, and more. It was a very colorful and vibrant place that would get kids engaged immediately. Adults will also be comfortable at the large bar which serves a variety of cocktails and other drinks if they are not interested in bowling, arcade games, or laser tag. I had a great time coming here with my family, and would come again. Unfortunately, I can't speak from experience when it comes to the arcade or laser tag, but the arcade was pretty large and had lots of games and prizes, and I'm sure you could spend all of your time in just the arcade and have a blast. I can't say anything about the laser tag as I didn't get to see any of the arena or anything. Overall great place for families and friends.”

“Haven't been here in years, but it was a great time. It was packed on a Saturday night when we showed up around 945, surprisingly we only waited about 15 minutes to get 3 people on a lane. Employees were amazing an attentive. They helped us with any of our needs. Will definitely be going back again soon. 😊 Edit* - have been back about 4-5 times between Feb & March an it was absolutely fantastic. I have to reiterate that the staff is amazing an so helpful! It's a fun time on the weekends, an not going to break the bank to go out an have fun.”

“When I saw the parking lot and exterior (not to mention it’s next door to a Gentlemen’s Club), I wanted to leave but the kids were ready to bowl. So we went inside and the place was really clean, especially the bathrooms. The young guy at the front was very nice. It was about $8 per person per game. The only con that I have is the holes in the balls were too small for my husband and I fingers. The kids fingers could fit in the holes but hand blisters after bowling.”

There is something for everyone here from video games to batting cages to laser maze and bowling. They have a good selection of pub style food including pizza and burgers. The place was clean. “I had a birthday party for myself and 2 friends in the private section of Howell Lanes the other day and it was amazing! The private section is a whole private room with 5 lanes, and when we booked the room it came with 5 pizzas and soda. They also have a full catering menu so we were able to add on more food. The whole staff was so helpful and accommodating every step of the way! Jeremy helped me book the room originally and was so informative and helpful. Bridget and Nicole worked the party the night of and were so sweet and accommodating! Nicole was there to help serve drinks (we just had everyone open their own tabs at the bar) and Bridget was there to make sure everything was running smoothly and to help with anything else we needed. My friend who’s pregnant even did her gender reveal there that night and Bridget and Nicole helped make it extra special and played “Isn’t She Lovely” over the speaker when we found out it was a girl! The whole experience was amazing from start to finish and I highly recommend booking the private room at Howell Lanes!”

“Just plain great! We visited the area after watching this bar on restaurant impossible and we were very impressed! Just outside of Newark NJ this gem is perfect if you’re looking for a drink with locals, great music, delicious food options, bowling or to make new friends. “Ed” was great and just the same as he came across on the show, a gentleman and treated us like family. We were visiting from New Hampshire and he went above and beyond to make us feel like family. I had the chicken wings and the chili. The chili was great but the wings were phenomenal! My girlfriend had the Tina Fries and she loved them. The portion sizes are huge and the bartenders are very friendly. We will be back again next time we visit the tri state area!
