Many of the boys are beginner sailors and have received excellent sailing and safe boat handling instruction from the Safe Harbor Academy staff and volunteers. The boys are alert to river traffic and understand the inland waterway navigation aides. They communicate effectively on course adjustments to operate safely on a busy commercial stretch of the St Johns River. Rooms were nice size and the kitchenette makes extended stays convenient. One of the big pro's was this hotel is pet friendly. We were unsure how that would go, but our cats made themselves at home once they got used to the sounds around. The big jewel of the place was the staff. It is a difficult time to be in hospitality and everyone was always willing to help with anything I needed. Would stay again.”
