On top of the apprehension, there is also a fear that some practitioners like to upsell work you may not necessarily need, but because you have good health insurance, they take advantage. Dr Powell was able to see me with an emergency treatment for a wisdom tooth impaction that was unbearably painful. His assistant, Regina, was courteous and very understanding of my fears. Dr Powell was able to treat me and explained to me every step of the treatment to ease my fears. Not only was the process smooth, but I was so well informed about my condition. There was no upsell of additional work to milk my insurance, but only the necessary treatment to help my condition. Everyone at the office was kind and courteous. You really felt like a patient and not a case number. He made a bite plate after an injury to make sure my enamel was protected from surface erosion due to grinding several years ago. After assessment, a treatment specialist will discuss with you the treatment plan and payment scheme. What I like about this is they explain things really well and gives payment options that work best for your budget. I especially like that their pricing is 100% transparent, no hidden fees, no extra charges. You then are given the time to think through which options you'll get and will be advised to call the office for confirmation. Krista made this so easy because she added another payment option that works for me! From there, appointments will be booked and then documents will get e-signed.
