One of the permits required me to have an “hard wired interconnect fire alarm system”. Let’s just say that the timing could have NOT been worst, since my closing was 3 days later. The town inspectors made it very cleared that if I wanted to closed this opened permit, I needed this ASAP. I called Xpert Electric and explained the situation to them. Shortly after Jacobsjiwed up. Jacob is the perfect example NOT to judge a book by its cover. He looks really young, so I honestly lost all hope. But during my interaction with him, I learned that he was very experience. “We have had an extremely positive experience with Aaron and his team installing a Garmin autopilot system in a small pilothouse boat with two helms - the two helms are at the same vertical level, one behind another which makes the hydraulic install a bit tricky; at the same time we also have had the ACR wireless lanyard system installed, and upgraded the Garmin maps/apps, plus some cleaning up of electric in the dashboard, etc. I am an okay DIY-er but this project was too complex, involving critical systems, just too much for me to tackle. The wait times for their service can be long-ish, as they are busy, but that did not bother me and their communication is great. They are not cheap, which is also fine given the quality of their work - first class. They provide clear estimates, and at delivery Aaron was the one who took us out for the calibrations/sea trial; he took several hours to adjust and calibrate the new systems and features, checking EVERYTHING, and providing point-by-point explanation of what was done and why, along with some personal anecdotes of what can go wrong and why. At some point, he questioned if there is possibly any air bubble left in the steering hydraulics and, just to be on the safe side, rebled the entire steering system one more time - with his portable bleeding system, using his own extra fluid. About 3 months and many boating hours later everything works as expected. Thank you, Aaron and the Team!”

“Princeton Electrical Makeover provided a great customer experience from start to finish. We needed a 50 Amp connection in our garage for charging our new plug-in hybrid. Alex K who came to provide the estimate was very knowledgeable and experienced. He patiently answered all my questions, from the technical (like the type of plug, wire, etc.) to the administrative (like the process to get the PSEG rebate, the town permit, etc.). After we got their estimate their office was very prompt in answering my calls and questions. Once we gave them the go ahead, They scheduled the install immediately. Alex A. and Ken E. arrived on time and were very polite and professional. They wore booties in the house and were also very patient in answering my questions. Alex had to combine two 25 amp breakers in the main breaker box to get 50 amps for the new circuit, which he did by shutting off only a few breakers. They had to pass the 50 amp wire from the breaker box (which was in one corner of the basement) to the garage (which was in the other corner). As my basement is finished with drywall, I was skeptical they could do it without breaking the dry wall but they did it! They also installed a NEMA 14-50 plug in the garage and hooked up the Chargepoint charger too. The whole process was finished in under 4 hours. They also filed the permit to start the work with our township and got it approved. The township checked the work and approved it as well. So all in all, great work by the entire team at Princeton Electrical Makeover! I was very impressed by their professionalism, knowledge and punctuality. They basically did the whole project from start to finish perfectly! We will definitely use them in the future.”
