I have no knowledge how to take the broken cap off the trap; then I called Mr. Plumber, and I got very quick response. He quickly diagnosed the situation, told me what he could do (clear a terrible clog that was sending sewage back up into our house) and what he could not do (replace a pipe fixture that was compromised, but not in need of immediate replacement), and then had everything sorted out within another hour. He was professional, courteous, and clearly knows what he is doing. He is also former US military, which I appreciate and respect. The work is not cheap, BUT I think that is just the nature of this type of emergency service. I didn't have time to do any comparative pricing, but I believe that it is well within reasonable. “My experience with Blue Boxer Plumbing was excellent. I had a severe plumbing issue underneath a concrete slab which was resolved in a few days. This work included jack-hammering, replacing several feet of plumbing, and replacement of gravel and concrete. Chuck led the project and was extremely thorough in the repair, documentation, and communication. Devin was his right-hand man and was equally as efficient and friendly. Both gentlemen were punctual, knowledgeable, and courteous. I was consistently informed of their discoveries as they removed the concrete. They walked me through where the issues existed and how each would be fixed before requesting my approval. They also shared with me the severity of the issues to deem how necessary each were. After completion, the work areas were properly cleaned up which was much appreciated. Keith was the original plumber who came to my house to assess the issue. He listened to my situation before completing his inspection. He was knowledgeable, experienced, and gave me a fair quote with quick turnaround time. For reference, the quote I received was in the middle of 3 between a suspiciously cheap one and another fair but more expensive option. Kathleen's professionalism, empathy, and customer service is exactly what any customer would desire. I was kept up-to-date with scheduling, quotes, and answers to all of my questions. I could consistently reach her via phone and email, and if not available, she would contact me back the same day. “We moved into our house in July and immediately had moisture and mold issues in the basement, and had minimal AC on the 1st and 2nd floors. We tried a couple different options and spoke to a few different companies to identify the problem, but were strung along by different people for quick fixes / sales that didn’t work. We called Argent for a leaking pipe in our crawl space, and John V. came out to quickly fix the issue and suggested that Brian come check out the moisture situation in the basement. Brian came out to do a walkthrough and was extremely knowledgeable about the real problem and how to fix it. A new Trane hvac system was installed in the basement with an Aprilair dehumidifier system for the basement and in-line humidifier for the winter. A second Trane system was installed in the attic for a second zone for the 2nd floor. Brian was always knowledgeable about everything and wanted the work done perfectly like it was his own home. Kurt and Carlos are true professionals and worked very hard to make our home comfortable with the new hvac system. Kurt and Carlos were always friendly to my wife and I, and they do very high quality work. The crew came early each day, around 8AM or earlier even. They were always extremely nice, clean, and we could not be happier with their work. John V. was so helpful with the original leak and he even came out during the project to replace our sump pumps with new ones and installed water to water back up systems. He stayed very late to finish the job timely. He was great in walking me through the plumbing in the basement to show how the new system worked. Mark also came to the house to fix a rusted waste line pipe. He was very quick, clean, and so friendly throughout the day. Brian/Argent also contracted for a new electrical panel and carpentry work to create an access drop down stairs to the attic for the 2nd hvac system, that was very seamless and a huge help for the project and long term utility / quality work in our home. Although these projects were not planned after we bought the home, we couldn’t be happier with Argent and every person who came to the house over the past few weeks. We greatly appreciate the hard work and sweat put into our home to literally reengineer the entire mechanical system in the house. It’s helped make the house feel like our home.”
