“UPDATE: ****8-22-23**** I received a call from the management team at cure auto insurance within 24 hours after providing feedback regarding my below customer service experience. Thank you to the management team at Cure Auto Insurance for following up with me expeditiously. Although I had a less-than-pleasant experience, the follow-up by management made it right! I have edited my rating to reflect this. ****THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER RECEIVED***** I called on Friday 8-18-23 and was transferred to the Customer Relations department by the billing department. I spoke with Frank (customer relations). There was a billing discrepancy, and I did not understand Frank's explanation, he over-talked me when I asked questions about the discrepancy, in short, he hung up on me (my phone was on speaker and sitting on the table, so I couldn't have hung up on him. I had to call back and held for over 20 minutes to speak with another representative, finally, Paris and her supervisor in the billing department were able to help with the billing concern, which was an error on Cure Auto Insurance's part and not mine. *******8/21/23****** I received a call from the automated system from Cure Auto Insurance stating that my renewal documents, along with copies of my medical insurance cards for myself and my household were not received. In fact, when I spoke to Paris on 8/18/2023, I verified with her that my documents and copy of the medical insurance cards were received. I called Cure immediately and spoke with Belinda (Policy Department), I was asked to verify my home address, and I gave the representative, my**current** home address, while in the process of me advising her that I am moving on September 1, and me attempting to give her the new address(I've already submitted my change of address with the date to Cure insurance)she interrupted me and told me my **current** address is not what is on file. When I explained to her, I was in the process of giving her my new address, she cut me off and then she hung up on me. I am currently looking for another insurance company. As I type this message, I've been on hold with Cure for over 25 minutes waiting to speak with a supervisor. I don't know what type of training is provided to employees, but I can assure you, training needs to be reevaluated. I have over 20 years of customer service experience, I know the day-to-day stress factors when having to be on the phone all day, talking to different types of personalities, so I am very mindful with how I conduct myself on the phone and I am very easy going; however, a customer should NEVER be hung up on and over-talked. Previous representatives, I spoke with at Cure have been helpful, but considering my most recent interactions, is the reason for my one-star rating, if I could my rating would have been zero. Finally, after hanging up, after waiting over 35 minutes to speak with a supervisor, I called back and spoke with Jen (existing policy department), I verified that my renewal package and medical insurance cards were received and to disregard the automated phone call.”

We recently put a new roof on our home and noticed in our renewal that we can save money by updating our policy. We provided all the paperwork to Allstate that the roofing company supplied us with. After Mary reviewed the information, she called the roofing company and requested the exact information that the underwriter department would need to update our policy. Since we switched to Allstate over 13 years, we only have great customer service when working with Mary and her team.”
