“After suffering a serious fall and broken foot, my orthopedist scheduled me for physical therapy. I was lucky to choose Sports Care Therapy and even more fortunate to have Joel Johny assigned as my therapist. From the very first appointment, Joel was encouraging to me that I would be able to make a full recovery. He took all the time I needed for the many questions I had about my injury and recovery. As I worked through the exercises to strengthen my foot and re-learn to walk, he was encouraging, and always explained how the exercise would strengthen my leg and how it would allow me to regain stability and allow me to begin to walk without my crutches. He is highly knowledgeable, and he was very encouraging to me as I feared I might never be able to fully walk naturally again. “Highly recommend AllCure! I pulled my hamstring in a softball game last weekend, and after my first treatment at AllCure today, I already feel better and ready to play in our championship this weekend. Katie started off the session with a bunch of great stretches and treatment. I was really impressed with how knowledgeable she was! Bill finished the session with laser treatment to speed up the recovery, and he gave me some great advice and an adjustment for a back issue I have. Both Katie and Bill are very easygoing and friendly. Overall, the experience was great and I'll be back Friday for more treatment. The facility is great as well. Tons of parking and very clean!”

“My father suffered a stroke which lead to issues of balance. He was unable to walk, sit and stand without assistance. John's work with my father has helped him improve technique and rid bad habits formed even before the stroke. After the first few sessions, I noticed that he has drastically improved the way he moves around. He can now take a few steps by himself as his balance is more stable. Sitting and standing are now done regularly in a safe and efficient manner. The goal is to get my father walking with a cane and back to some normal daily activities like walking in the park. We still have a long way to go but if my father continues to do these exercises on his own I know he will get stronger. I highly recommend John’s rehabilitation services because not only does he come from an engineering background which sparks some non-traditional, yet highly effective techniques, but he truly cares for his patients and his desire to see them get better is sincere.”

“Being the type not to visit a doctor unless I've been shot or just short of dying, I decided to try my luck with Dr. O after my neck locked up on me while getting out of bed one day. ““In the spring of 2020, I received a grim diagnosis about my knee. I started to have knee pain and discomfort and my range of motion was decreasing as well as pain going up and down the stairs. I went to see a knee specialist/surgeon who told me that my knee is in a bad shape and my only options are anti-inflammatory pills now and double knee replacement in 10 years. This was devastating to a mother of three children who also liked to hike, bike, and cook for family and friends. I started to withdraw from the things I love and felt worried about my family. I began to look for help and explore the option of Physical Therapy. I was very fortunate to find Empowered PT and to work with Bishoy. He spent a lot of time listening to me and understanding what the issue was. He reassured me that with the right exercises and movements, I was going to get better. We started small with exercises I was comfortable with then we progressed overtime. I started to feel better and was encouraged to do more exercise at home. After few months of working with Empowered PT and at home, I am now able to do so much more. My pain and discomfort have subsided. My range of motion is almost back to normal. I can go up and down the stairs without thinking, I can plan activities with my kids and I can cook and host dinners, as I always loved to do. My knee is no longer holding me back.
