“They have the best empanadas especially the chicken empanadas. Very positive attitude and I’ll be coming back. The sauce isn’t really too spicy but it has a nice little kick to it and plus it taste really good with the empanadas. Update this was what I posted when I tasted the chicken. I HAD THE BEEF. NOW THATS ALL I EAT EVERYDAY. My 4 year old ask if it’s okay to skip school for some manadas so I love it here. And the hospitality is wonderful. The only complaint I have is you guys close too early 😂😂”

“My mom and I are in town visiting family and staying nearby. I wasn't paying full attention when looking at this place on here, so was surprised to see the complete assortment of the menu when we got there (just thought it was Italian food). This was not a bad thing, though! Everything on the menu looked good! When we walked up I didn't think we could dine in. The signs on the door said "take out or delivery" and the tables inside were a bit in a disarray. However, as soon as we mentioned we would want to dine in, the young girl working straightened up the area quickly for us to sit. We ordered a large (18") pizza. Half Chef Miguel and half Margarita. Pizza came out hot and fresh. Slices were large (4 of each - 8 total). You could tell the basil was fresh on the Margarita side and the sausage on the Chef Miguel side was so good. Overall we loved it. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic! Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I felt like the dine in area could have been a bit more presentable or welcoming (but it wasn't terrible). Also, sad to read in the reviews that Chef Miguel passed away recently. May he rest easy and in peace.”

“I've used twin oaks in the past for some outdoor party catering events but most recently I used them for a short notice surprise birthday party...and they came through. The amount of food and quality of the food was exceptional. All of the guests really enjoyed the food and surprisingly I had a ton of leftovers due to the quantity they prepare. I saw Bimmy (QGTM) post a piece of cake and from this place and I said to myself, nahh, it can't be that good, so I pulled up, and I'm glad I did. “I love this restaurant. I did hibachi last time and the regular restaurant this time. Both were delicious and a great experience. I usually do mixed drinks but being pregnant, I tried the virgin strawberry daiquiri - I've never had such an amazing daiquiri! It was so delicious. We started with the rock shrimp (it was good- some had the tails still so watch out). And then I had spicy tuna rolls with a side of rice. Everything was very good and very reasonably priced. The waiter was also the bartender but he multitasked very well. Great experience!”

“I was working and was in this city. I was happy they offered a cauliflower pizza crust it was good. I decided to try the house salad for $7.00 they forgot the fork. But they quickly came by to give me napkins and a utensil so I could eat my salad. I did order the ice tea and requested unsweet for a quart $4.95. That was said to be really good ice tea. Unfortunately, when I called to make sure it was unsweet after ordering it was sweet tea. I asked for a cup of tap water and the manager said No! They offered to switch the quart of tea for the tap water and I said No! That wouldn’t make sense to exchange something free for something that I paid $4.95 for. It was disappointing that I couldn’t get a cup of water with my delivery. Overall the pizza and salad were good but management not so good.”

“This place is incredible. My partner and I order from here almost weekly now. I usually get two orders of the chorizo tacos and a steak burrito (4 tacos per order!). We tried their beef enchiladas a few days ago and they were great (4 enchiladas per order). The rice and beans that accompany the burritos and enchiladas are always warm and soft. I never get hard rice from this place. They make two kinds of burritos normally (I think), Steak and Chicken. Both are excellent! I called recently and asked for a Chorizo burrito and they made it. It was absolutely amazing. It was STUFFED with chorizo. And the chorizo is flavored so deliciously well. The verde sauce is delicious as well as their hot sauce. It's not as hot as I thought it might be but it does have a nice zing to it. The heat also doesn't linger for too long which is nice. I do enjoy getting the hot sauce from them every other time or so. The flavors of this place are phenomenal. If you're in the area, you have to try this Mexican restaurant. You will NOT be disappointed. Grab a mandarin flavored Jarritos too.”

“Beautiful views! The restaurant has indoor + outdoor seating. Outdoor seating has a great view of the lake but the inside is just as nice. I went during happy hour and they had dollar oysters! For the most part the food was good but one of the dishes and the appetizer were pooling with grease (both fried). Our server was attentive and overall had a pleasant experience.
