“Fun place for a kosher brunch, especially if you go before the summer rush. Service was great, and they gave us high chairs and mini pancakes for our kids. The food seemed like mostly diner food, so temper your expectations. They didn't try too hard and most of the food could be made pretty easily at home. However, it's been around forever which means that people like the consistency. The food also arrived very quickly, and there was ample staff to clear tables. I really enjoyed the pancakes and the veggie burger Caesar salad wrap. Fries were good, and the omelets came with potatas bravas, ie individually fried. The macaroni salad was not a good idea. Some minor cons: -They have tons of outdoor tables, but no umbrellas for people that want shade -The menu did not have updated pricing -Tip is included and they asked us to pay with cash -The food lacked creativity. Maybe they want to keep the menu short to clear tables faster, but they should look to brunch places in Asbury for more inspiration (ie fake bacon, fresh herbs, non alcoholic drinks, etc)”

The bartender was awesome very helpful and good to talk to, everyone was really chill. The food came out fast which is always nice. He made an amazing drink and the flat bread was delicious wasn’t so filling which I liked so I could eat my steak. “I visited Chengdu 1 Palace for lunch this past weekend with friends. I was very impressed by their menu since they offered soup dumplings, which is something I rarely see at dim sum restaurants. The food we ordered was quite delicious while also being reasonably priced. The wait staff here were attentive and friendly. We never had to wait long for refills, which was really nice. The waitresses come by your table with a cart filled with food and you tell them which items you'd like. Everything we ate was tasty and fresh. I really enjoyed visited Chengdu 1 Palace with my friends this past weekend. I would definitely stop by here again whenever I'm in the area. I left the restaurant feeling satiated and completely satisfied.”

The guacamole was probably the best we’ve ever had (went with my husband and daughter) & the salsa that comes with the chips was so tasty! We had a ton of food (and leftovers that we’re looking forward to eating), we tried the tacos (authentic, fresh & delicious), quesadillas and my husband had a burrito actually the order came with two huge burritos. Everything was scrumptious! My favorite sauce is definitely the "honey garlic butter", it's smooth, savory-sweetness has me wanting more. Yet the portion size of the sandwich itself leaves me feeling perfectly satisfied! :) If you're into having a beer while you eat your chicken sandwich, you're in luck because they are BYOB and located right next to a liquor store. They do both take out and dine in--my recommendation is to eat the sandwich as soon as possible and try not to get it and reheat later. Nothing beats it being fresh with the chicken being so wonderfully tender and all. Long story short: Absolutely worth it--very tasty! Side note: Their pickles used to taste homemade and unique, but the last time I went they tasted very ordinary so I'm not sure what changed.”

We have visited a few times with different guests. The flavors have been consistently good and we always leave stuffed and happy. We haven't tried every dish yet. The menu is compact but extensive with at least a dozen regional sauces mix-and-match with proteins and vegetables; and a choice of spice level to coddle 😋 or punish 🥵. The staff are friendly and attentive.”
