“Delicious lunch on the outside patio. Hot Lobster rolls were wonderful. Lobster meat was sautéed in warm butter and served on a fresh soft bun. We tried the New England and Manhattan Clam Chowder. Both had great flavor and lots of tender fresh clams. You can tell the Fried Calamari is very fresh and tender and served with a tasty Marinara sauce. Busy patio at 2:30 in the afternoon. Highly recommend.”

There aren’t a lot of decorations inside or out. To be honest it’s very plain for a Mexican restaurant. The dining space is small with enough seating for no more than 50 people; give or take. Its clean and simple focusing your attention to the food alone. I was impressed by the quality, freshness, variety of ingredients and affordability. The flavors in my burrito were so well complemented I swore they must have married and were celebrating in my mouth. This burrito was LOADED. Definitely enough to split with someone special or reheat later. The party in my mouth began with green and red peppers vegetables cooked to a crisp but crispy the juices exploded while maintaining sycronicity with just the right amount of flavor-locked, chickenbreast cubes, decorated with cilantro herbs, corn and onions. Next you taste the melted layer of cheese centered right smack in the middle or the sandwich smothering a generous portion of homemade refried beans and yellow rice. I got curious and added a little salsa verde to my side salad; just a few cucumbers lettuce and tomato slices. Me and my burrito will continue to be a beautiful moment I want to relive again and again. BIG BONUS~ theres a BODEGA connected to the entrance that has really nice trinkets and random finds like homemade Jewelry and western apparel. I fell in love with a multicolored beaded rosary and (evil-eye) bracelet. Also purchased a couple of trucker caps and Mexican candies. I’m so glad this place exists!!”

In my opinion, there was a bit more cheese than I would have preferred, which led to some excess grease. Although I did enjoy the sauce on the pie, which was on the tart side rather than sweet, there wasn't anything really "pronounced" about it. Again, a good pie, just nothing that left a lasting impression. I would, however, recommend giving Gervasio's a shot to experience the tomato pie for yourself. Great, fast, and friendly staff!”

“Someone give this chef a Michelin star. Went there to try it out and eat lamb shank, they had just ran out and he offered me and upgrade lamb chops for the same price as I had already paid. “On 12/16/23, we went back with our daughter's family for a holiday, all gluten-free dinner for someone with an allergy. The decorations were all up, and the restaurant looked fabulous. Our waitress Electra took good care of us all night, and we ordered drinks and shared the gluten-free crabcake and calamari in addition to wedge salads. All were delicious. For dinner, we got four different gluten-free entrees: NY strip, Filet Mignon, Duroc Pirk Chop, and the Rack of Lamb. Everyone enjoyed their dinner, and there were no allergic reactions. Excellent! Dessert was a rich chocolate flour lesson cake and Cappucinos. Overall the service and atmosphere were excellent and we will definitely dine there again. On 11/2/23 We dined at SFR for the first time, and we were pleasantly surprised. Nice old farm house with add-on offered many interesting places to sit. We opted for low seating in the bar area where we could see the piano player. Nice wine selection by the glass. Soon after being seated, hot rolls and butter were served. For an appetizer, we tried the Steak Bites, which we cooked perfectly, and came with a tasty horseradish sauce. For dinner, we both ordered seafood, my wife the scallops, and I got the Mariscada, clams, callimari, and shrimp on pasta with a lighter pesto sauce. Next time, I would ask for some garlic to be added to the Mariscada. My wife said the scallops were perfect. For dessert, we opted for the pumpkin cheesecake and Cappucinos. All we delicious. Overall, we were very pleased and will plan to visit again soon.”

“It seemed that their shelves were a bit bare in places...there were very little meats and cheeses to choose from and their prices are crazy high...but the things we did find were of good quality. I was disappointed that they don't make fresh mozzarella but the brand they sell is decent, better than anything in a supermarket...but not one bit of provolone was on the shelf...the steaks were beautiful but at almost $40 a pound for a strip steak, not beautiful enough! The fish counter was practically bare, a few pieces of salmon that looked nice enough but on the whole, pretty empty. They only had 2 loaves of Italian bread left...i realize that bread doesn't last too long, though, so im assuming they sell out early. All in all a nice store that could use a bit of restocking.”
