“My new favorite! Thai, Chinese, Japanese and hibachi all in one place! Sushi was so fresh and delicious. I got the drunken noodles and my husband had chicken and broccoli, both excellent. We also had soup, wonton and seafood, super good. Service is great, food is excellent, portions are good and prices are very fair. This is a must visit. If dining in - it is small, call ahead to see if a wait or go early. They do takeout as well.”

“Strangely enough, the food was a lot better here than it was at their suburban location. When I go out for Indian food, I have very high standards considering that I could just make it at home. We took some out-of-towners here last night and everyone enjoyed all of the dishes. Even though it is self dining the portions are a good size, the flavor was well balanced, the menu provided a good variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, and the total bill wasn’t that expensive. Overall, a very good meal and experience!”

“Great experience! We really enjoyed just about every part of the restaurant. As you can see we ordered several items. They bring you a crispy bread with olive oil and oregano when you sit down. It was very good and you can tell they use quality oil. We started with the spicy feta dip and the cheese balls. Both we very tasty! Pita comes out hot and almost crispy. For entrées we got the pork gyro platter and the stuffed peppers (& tomato). The platter was very filling and delicious. The server (Joe) recommended the pork. He told us that in Greece pork gyros are more common and lamb is less common. It was interesting so I gave it a try and my God. It was fire! Perfect pieces of salty, crispy pork. I made little gyro sandwiches and loved them! The stuffed pepper was different and good. Again you can tell all the ingredients are fresh and quality. Service was very good, no complaints. Price was it's a steal. I don't usually say this, but I would have thought the bill would have been at least $20 dollars more expensive. Also there is parking in the back it appears, I didn't know this and ended up parking around the corner. Would absolutely recommend you give this place a try, I know we will be back! Overall I give Stamna Taverna a 4.6 out of 5, an NJ must visit!”

We split the kids meal between both kids and instead of splitting the ice cream that comes with the kids meal, both kids received their own nicely sized portion (the parents were delighted to help the kids devour). Meal was slightly more expensive, but it was very convenient to slip down to restaurant for a bite and then return to our hotel room. We were able to find something on the menu to try and were not disappointed.”

“My husband and I just had a very lovely Sunday dinner here for the 1st time. We started with Cesar salads. They were super fresh and the portion was very generous. The mussel appetizer was one of the best I ever had. The mussels quality was excellent and the sauce had a perfect amount of spice. The bread was served nice and warm. For my entree, I had the Frutti de Mare special. My husband had chicken Ala Mia! Both were Very delicious! Since everything was so good, we had to try the dessert, so we opted for the bananas foster. Having our waiter prepare it fresh for us at table side was a nice experience and a perfect ending to our dinner date. Highly recommended Mia and can’t wait to go back!”

We had 5 courses plus fruit before cake and coffee. Each course was better than the one before it. We had hot and cold antipasto, next mini pumpkins stuffed with sausage, mushrooms, pumpkin, cheese and cinnamon. They were outstanding. Next was penne vodka followed by salad. I had the flounder oreganato with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. Final course was a selection of fresh fruit. The meal was amazing. The wait staff was super attentive and very pleasant and so accommodating from start to finish. I would highly reccomend Sergio's for a dinner for 2 or a party of 28.”
