“This synagogue is not an orthodox synagogue. It says in the synagogue newsletter that it accepts everyone regardless of their level of observance. You could be either a strict Orthodox Jew or you could be a Reform Jew and they would completely accept you. In orthodox synagogues there is a culture of religiosity and an expectation to keep all religious laws. This synagogue is not that.”
