Agua Sarca Trailhead

No snow on the way up the tiny dirt road to get there so bonus! Still a bit of snow here and there on the trail its self. A great hike for someone who doesn't mind a bit of a climb. Of and minimal parking to go early.

This trail was a little tough, although in my defense I will say for some reason I didn't eat breakfast today. But really, it is labeled as Hard on AllTrails. Spectacular views, challenging but fun terrain (with a very special treat) and loads of fun. When I started (Dec. 9th) at the bottom there was no snow but at the top we ended up with at least 4 inches! Way too fun.

Great trail with amazing views! Best hiked in the colder months of fall since you'll be hiking up the mountains most the way.

The views from this trail are amazing. I will definitely be heading up there again. The reason I'm not giving it a five star rating is because the roads to get there are terrible. When I went I'm pretty sure a combination of the melting snows last month and people getting stuck made the road a bunch of deep indents. I was able to get my Chevy Spark to the trail head and park, but I ended up not staying because if some one else decided to come up I probably would have gotten stuck on the road. If you have a higher clearance vehicle though this is definitely a place to check out.
