Hot Tamales New Mexican Kitchen

Outstanding food and service was spot on. I'm born and raised 50+ years in Albuquerque and know my new Mexican food. This is on my top 3 new Mexican restaurants. Would go more often but I live in heights so a little ways to drive. Will still be back.

First time customers! Wasn't disappointed. Seems like a very popular place to eat. Restaurant opened at 11am, we arrived 15 minutes early thinking they opened earlier, and a whole bunch of cars started pulling up. We lined up, and were let in at open. We were seated right away, and was helped by a team of friendly staff. Our server was Nicole and man was she Excellent! Fast, friendly and very capable of multi-tasking. The food was good, (hot and delicious.) We will be back!

May 2022 - Update: Still just as good if not better!! Service from Zach L was awesome and the friendly customer service and warm smile from Shelby was so refreshing. We do not go out very often and we appreciate good food and a warm atmosphere when we do. Thank you.

It is actually slightly more expensive than you would think; however you are getting fresh grate tasting food made to order, so I would say this place has an almost perfect price to quality ratio. This makes Hot Tamales a rare value for its location.
