(October 17, 2022, 11:29 am)Weather was overcast with a light rain, we found it perfect. We took a short hike. Drove a short way along the primitive road and enjoyed the changing colors of the fall leaves.
(October 18, 2021, 6:32 pm)Best time to do this trail is first half of October due to the different colors that the trees get. It is very crowded around that time and sometimes you need to park 1 mile away from the trailhead. Rest of the year is very quiet.
Going to the top part takes around 2 hour roundtrip, the most beautiful area is the first half.
(October 8, 2021, 3:35 pm)You walk a lot in the shade so wear a jacket it can get a little chilly. It was extremely beautiful out pull out enjoy the scenery before the snow comes
