John is one of the best counselors I have had. I’ve been through numerous counselors with the VA who only focus on me talking about how I feel and no guidance on how to handle those feelings. I’m so glad I was outsourced and placed with John. He works with me to help me find constructive ways to cope with what I am going through. He helps me set realistic goals for myself and supports me when I’m having a really rough time. He is flexible with scheduling and genuinely cares. It is hard to find someone like him. I highly recommend!

I can not say enough positive things about John. At 1st the thought of talking to someone about deep underlying issues/ concerns about my everyday life was hard. I’m not one to open up. But John got me to open up and talk about things and because of him I am a better person, friend, wife and mother. He gives me the tools to be a better version of myself everyday. He believes in me and actually makes me want to do the work. He doesn’t judge you but makes you realize the things that are truly going on and work through them to come out better then you went in. John is a great counselor. He helps a large variety of people’s needs. John listens to you and will be stern if there is a need to be. John’s kindness is welcoming for a counselor. John is flexible when he can be. I have been with him for three years and have make breakthroughs with him and on my own which speaks to John’s knowledge, patience, and encouragement.
