He stepped us through the entire process and helped us work with our insurance. Can’t thank you guys enough! Our roof looks amazing! I’d also like to add, they installed the roof in one day! My goodness they are hard workers and very professional just superior service all around! Power Play Contracting for the win!!
(July 27, 2022, 4:04 pm)My house had hail damage. Our first insurance adjuster said it was not hail damage. The owner of Powerplay came over to walk the second adjuster through the areas of hail damage.
Handed us a book of colors.
Within a 1.5 weeks, he came over with his crew and replaced roof in ONE DAY
(July 26, 2022, 2:07 pm)Mike and his crew replaced our roof which was damaged during a hailstorm on June 1, 2022. Mike is very personable and professional and he pays attention to detail. He treated our home and roof as if it were his own. We had an automatic attic ventilation fan that was broken and whose plastic domed cover had been severely chipped and damaged by the hail. As we weren't able to find a new cover nor did we contact an electrician to try to fix the fan, we authorized Mike to remove it. He took care to disconnect and cap the wires to the old fan motor and leave everything intact in our attic should we want to fix or replace it at a later date. There also was an old metal faux rectangular chimney surrounding our round gas ventilation pipe. Instead of working around it as our former roofer had, Mike had his crew remove the facade which in turn exposed a severely corroded pipe underneath and evidence of leaking. Instead of leaving it as is, Mike tried to replace the pipe and flashing, but given the unusual diameter of our pipe there were none to be found locally. So, Mike had a pow-wow with his crew and ended up fashioning a new pipe complete with flashing and a cover that rivals the prefabricated ones sold on the Internet. He then spray-painted the pipe and the other exhaust pipes on our roof with black mat paint which really makes our roof look polished. When it was time to put the flashing around our brick chimney, again they went the extra mile by ensuring that the flashing was cut into the brick to prevent any leakage (our previous roofer had not done this). I can't say enough about Mike's crew. They worked for over 12 hours getting the job done in one day (stripping off the old roof, applying plywood where needed, installing new shingles, etc.). They did a superb job cleaning up including sweeping our deck. Our yard was left in immaculate condition. The crew were efficient and professional. You could tell that Mike had a very good report with his crew and that he was respected. Our roof now is a showcase roof! At least two random people from surrounding streets have stopped to comment. I guess you can tell by this review that we highly recommend Power Play Contracting LLC.
(October 3, 2021, 12:31 pm)Power Play Contracting came through for us and did a great job replacing our house, porch, and detached garage roofs all in one day. Mike is extremely responsive and informative, fair, and was on-site making sure everything went smoothly. The result is beautiful. Based on my referral, he has already replaced a roof for a family member of mine who had a leak. Mike went the extra mile to refer me to a mason for chimney replacement as well and helped to ensure that worked out smoothly. More than just a roofing job, it is apparent that Mike cares about helping the people who hire him and it shows in his effort and outcome. Thank you Mike Power Play!
