Love this place! The whole building and ambiance is so unique and comfy. My husband and I were initially told it could be a 30-45 minute wait so we got 2 bar seats to have some of their tasty beers. But we were surprised to get a table in less than 5 minutes. All staff we encountered were friendly. I loved the poutine; battered fries can’t be beat. My husbands go to is the gobbler and he has never had a complaint. I went with the seafood Mac & cheese and was pleased with how much seafood it had. Lots of shrimp and plump scallops and unlike most macaroni and cheese, it reheated nicely. Definitely recommend it!
Not to visit here means not to taste delicious beer and miss the atmospheric place. The staff is professional and customer oriented. On the menu you will find, on the recommendation of the waiters, any drink to your taste. The food is traditional but excellently prepared. My surprise and admiration was caused by the dish “cauliflower wings. Try different variations. It is highly recommended to take your favorite beer with you. It will be poured for you and packed in front of you. Dog friendly.
Great space. Beautifully renovated pump house space with an open second floor mezzanine space. Creative food that meets expectations of the menu. Although I didn't try their own home brewed beer, their drink menu was solid with options from a local Cidery.
All the servers were extremely friendly. I had the Vienna Lager beer with was great, & the Pastrami Kimchi Reuben sandwich which was also good with a little spicy kick. Dining area in back, High tables by the bar & kitchen area. Also had upstairs seating but there was a party going on.
This is a great brewery in the trendy warehouse district of Albany. The building is historic and they have lots of information on its past through the inside along with having other really cool decor. The food was great here and is warm and pub style in flavor and portions. We had clean plates at the end. The real star of our experience was the beer (as it should be at any respectable brewery). What’s great about this place is that the service, beer, food and space is all excellent. I will be back again for sure, this spot is a gem.
