“Thanks to Albany Carpet Warehouse for doing a great install on the stair runner! They were very professional and courteous from start to finish. Wendy helped me find the perfect carpet for the job. They allowed me to take home some samples until I was 100% certain which one I was going to go with. I decided to have the edges serged and they did it in-house, and very well! The owner was very knowledgeable and shared photos with me of other similar jobs. They sent one of their installers, Al, along with the helper, to do the final install. He was friendly and a perfectionist. I couldn't be happier the way it turned out. Their prices are also very competitive and you will find that they've got an excellent selection compared to anybody else in the area. And just as a bonus, Chuck quickly finished off the edges to some of the leftover carpet, creating a complimentary area rug and runner for me to use elsewhere in the house, at no extra charge! I highly recommend you checked them out! They are located right next to Maxie's restaurant and bar on Wolf Road right by the light.”

“I hate shopping and I hate being inside on a beautiful day…but I just moved to the area and a bed is necessary. I went to Metro Mattress this morning and was very happy with the experience. Not only did I end up with a new mattress that I am really excited about, but I had a fun time, which is wild to say about mattress shopping. Ben was the salesperson there who helped me learn about mattress construction, what would best fit my needs, and who was also patient enough to let me try mattresses again and again until I finally decided! I very much appreciate how genuine and easy going he was through the whole process.”

“Went during the closing sale and there is actually a fair amount of inventory. A lot of outdoor/summer items, good amount of pots/pans and dishes as well as bedding. Tons of beauty items remain in stock. Very busy when I went and the lines were long but not terrible. Discount was only between 10-20% but that may change as the closing sales continue. Sad to see the end of an era.”

“We relocated and sold almost all of our furniture. Just on a whim I contacted Stickley in Albany and Becky responded. My first thought was that I wouldn’t buy anything because I wasn’t interested in purchasing only the Stickley brand. I was very surprised by the wide range of high quality furniture brands offered. Clearly Audi changed the game there and Becky is the best. So far, I’ve purchased furniture and rugs for the kitchen/dining area, family room, game room and bedrooms. Not much left to buy for phase 1 of my buying spree and it’s been a wonderful experience. Becky is very talented in design and helping with choices. I compared prices with High Point and she always beat the price. I’m so happy I followed my initial whim and went to the store. All is beautifully staged and prices are displayed. This is not your parents’ old fashioned Stickley furniture store with mission style furniture. If you want high end quality furniture with many brand offerings, then this is your store! I look forward to checking out accessories and other smaller items when we move into our new home. Another plus is that they will hold all furniture and deliver it at one time to our home when it’s ready.”
