“Dr, Gao changed my life. I was told by a few orthopedic doctors to deal with my diagnosis and accept pain pills and the inevitable life with a walker and eventually a wheelchair. The pain in my back was unbelievable and I was feeling overwhelmed and depressed that my life had taken this turn. However, I was told to try acupuncture by a friend and I tried Dr. Gao about 4 years ago. I went in not believing it would work but was surprised that I was getting relief. 4 years later I am not even using a cane and I take no pain pills at all. “Paul is excellent. I had a spinal fushion in 1985 from a car accident & used to have frequent back/hip pain. I developed poor posture & one shoulder was always significantly higher than the other. I went to various chiropractors, physical therapists & orthopedic doctors over the years but they didnt help. Also, they all thought I had scoliosis & would have to live with it. “I am so frustrated with my experience with CNY. Most of the staff on one hand are so caring and kind but on the other hand the communication lines at this clinic are horrible. I have spent days just trying to get my prescriptions in order with barely any help or inconsistent help from the clinic. I am not sure if some staff are just terrible at writing notes and the other half are terrible at reading them. I seriously have no idea. But I already have had treatment delayed due to staff error not mine and now I am worried I will have to wait another month again for staff error not mine. I do have faith the process will work out with them but good lord, I don't think I should have to call everyday to make sure things are getting done. EDIT: I need to stress that the staff is kind and very helpful. All of them. It can be bumpy at times but keep going.”

“My children have been seeing Dr. Barry since they were in the NICU and he is patient and kind. He is willing to wait ( as long as a doctor in a busy office can) for them to warm up to him, and has number of tricks up his sleeve to get their attention and to hold it. He works with very young and fragile children and sees them progress, and has such a wonderful and gentle demeanor. His office staff are quick and friendly and very efficent. The office can be crowded but things run smoothly for a pediatric eye clinic. Wonderful doctor and fantastic with children!”
