“My wife and I happened upon this little gem last weekend. We were greeted warmly by the gentlemen who was unloading and staging his freshly picked goodies, and goodies they were. We bought tomatoes, cauliflower, zucchini and squash for grilling that evening. The gentleman asked if we liked cabbage and offered us a curious looking Japanese named head and explained how to prepare it. At home we prepped the vegetables and marinated them in olive oil, lemon juice and a blend of salt, pepper, garlic, herbs for the grill.......great quality makes for delicious meals!! We will be back.”

“Despite visiting Albany many times in the last few years, this was the first time I had visited The Spinning Room - and I absolutely loved it!! I went about 45 mins before closing and didn't feel at all rushed or like I was being pushed out of the shop; the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and they had actually engaging conversation about what type of craft I do, yarns I use, what I make, etc. It is such a homey feeling shop and despite preparing for the upcoming Rhinebeck festival, they were fully stocked! I highly suggest checking out this sweet yarn shop every time you get the chance!!”

“During the night our AC went off. All our clocks were blinking. We turned everything back on and went back to bed. It happened again about a 1/2 hour later. My husband called National Grid and a rep. was here in less than an hour. He thought he saw the problem with a line rubbing against a tree limb. He put in the order for repair. The repair truck was here not long after that. He tightened all the lines from the road to our house and found and corrected a loose connection. Both guys were very pleasant and obviously wanted to make sure they left us with power restored and safe. We really appreciated the promptness and care. Thank you I see a lot more negative reviews than positive but I think that's only because people are more apt to take the time to complain rather than praise. I'm sure the service we received was the usual and the negative reviews were the exceptions”

“Money is the root of all evil, cleanse yourself at I&I. They don’t call me the family disappointment for nothing, I’ve let a lot of people scribble on me. Throughout my young years I’ve been tattooed by dozens of people and stepped foot in countless shops. The shop is a welcoming, clean, and zen-feeling place. The owner, Chad, has done an incredible job setting it up- it’s a MUCH more calm and comfortable space than I’m used to. I wish I could go back in time and get my first tattoo here instead of in a loud and intimidating environment, I & I reeks wonderfully of professionalism and quality Recently I’ve had the awesome experience of being tattooed by Josh Coburn. He was light handed, quick, respectful, entertaining, accommodating and all of those great things you look for in an artist. Equally as important, his work is STELLAR. He may be young but he’s killing it in the technical aspects of tattooing. I’ve seen experienced artists with decades of work not compare to his. He’s one to watch, a rookie of the year. If you’re in the mood for traditional, be prepared to be a very happy client with him. I hope this caught your attention enough to consider I&I. “BOOK.RACHEL.NOW! Just do it, it's the best decision you'll make as a bride! She was sweet, professional, and a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process. My trial was amazing, and I even changed my mind on my wedding day to a different look and she was fully there for it and NAILED it. I have never felt so beautiful and my bridesmaids all felt the same, and the makeup lasted all day & night. Rachel is so talented, knowledgeable, and makes you feel so calm and comfortable in her chair. I even had one my own eyelashes try to sabotage me right at the moment of the reveal, my eye started watering profusely and her and her assistant got right in there to fish it out. It was a scary moment for all involved but she still made me feel so calm, and my make-up didn't even budge! I cannot recommend Rachel enough, you need her for your wedding day!”
